    Update: Jannie Blackwell’s office has notified NHCD that they will not hold the hearing on bill 190638 tomorrow, October 16th, at the originally scheduled time. Instead, it will be discussed at the next meeting scheduled for November 19th; we were invited to come support the bill on 11/19. More details to follow.

Developers Callahan Ward have dismissed the safety concerns of the community. They’ve denied us access to their environmental testing results and they’ve refused to make any concessions to mitigate the negative consequences… Read more

  • Community Speak-Out and Rally

    Please join us Monday, July 27th, 2020 at 7pm at Malcolm X Park (5100 Pine Street) to speak out against the proposed Callahan Ward apartments at 303 S. 51st Street. Please bring your masks and maintain social distance. We will provide water and hand sanitizer!
